Janet was a dearly loved wife, mother and grandmother, who died 4 weeks after being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer on the 27th December 2011, 3 days before her 67th birthday.
She had every intention of dealing with the disease in the same way that she went through life - head down and facing up to any crisis - but unfortunately she did not get the opportunity to fight for long due to the aggressiveness of the tumours.
It is our intention to honour her memory by raising badly needed funds for the research into a disease that has laid our family bare - in the hope that we can stop another family suffering as we have.
