Janet was a dearly loved wife, mother and grandmother, who died 4 weeks after being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer at Christmas 2011.
She had every intention of dealing with the disease in the same way that she went through life but unfortunately she did not get the opportunity to fight for long due to the aggressiveness of the tumours. Symptoms had been blamed on other life factors and when diagnosed she was already at stage 3.

It is our intention to honour her memory by raising badly needed funds for the research into a disease that has laid our family bare - in the hope that we can stop another family suffering as we have.
